Malia Mills And Mad Over You Hosting Shop For Good Event To Benefit DreamYard Art Center

Starting in July, Mad Over You Tees, a social impact t-shirt brand, teamed up with Malia Mills to be the exclusive graphic t-shirt designer at Malia Mills store locations nationwide. Tees from the line showcase inspirational messages like “extra ordinary” and “be real.” Made in the U.S., the luxury MOY graphic tees are created with the finest cotton. They come in both relaxed and slim fits and select styles, and shirts from the DreamYard Art Center collection were designed by the kids in the community centers themselves.

On Saturday, August 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m., MOY Founder Ian Madover and Designer Malia Mills are hosting a shopping event to commemorate their collaboration, in support of the DreamYard Art Center. Artwork created by DreamYard students will be on display and available for purchase at the event, and the evening will also include a poetry reading by Ellen Hagan, Chair of the Poetry department at the DreamYard Project.

Founded in 2014, Mad Over You’s mission is to connect consumers to the organizations their purchases support. 100 percent of net profits are donated to art-based programs for underserved youth in community centers nationwide. Along with DreamYard Art Center, MOY also supports Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), Bird Street Community Center in Boston, BUILD in Chicago, and Overtown Youth Center in Miami.
