Maison Margiela took over the dining room space in Sage & Madison for their summer pop-up, one of Sag Harbors’ most historic buildings dating back to the 1700s.
Founded on ideas of nonconformity and the subversion of norms, the Parisian Haute couture house Mansion Margiela has been under the creative direction of the British courtier John Galliano since 2014. During his time with the brand, Galliano has devoted Margiela to uncompromising creativity invigorated by values of authenticity, radicality, and self-expression.
Cameron Silver, an LA-Based celebrity stylist, partnered with Margiela for his second annual East Coast summer fashion residency, where he showcased his carefully curated collection of ready-to-wear accessories and shoes. Silver chose to highlight the new Colorama assortment of handbags that perfectly embody the summary Hamptons aesthetic.
When asked why he wanted his summer residency in Sag Harbor, Silver said, “Many of my clients relocate to the Hamptons for the summer, and they gravitate toward an intimate and exclusive shopping experience…Sag Harbor remains the most charming destination in the Hamptons, and it’s wonderful to invite some of my favorite international luxury brands to pop-up with me over the summer.”
Stay tuned for future pop-ups curated by Sliver in partnership with brands such as Marni, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Etro.
