The Oceana NYC Gala, held at the Rainbow Room in New York City, raised $1.5 million for the oceans. Ted Danson, an Oceana Board Member, served as MC while Board Members Susan Rockefeller and David Rockefeller, Jr. hosted. The evening celebrated two longtime advocates for the oceans: Sam Waterston, who was introduced by former President Bill Clinton, and Morgan Freeman.
