Navy Beach kicked off its fifth season of fundraising efforts for the Navy SEAL Foundation during a cocktail party. This year’s benefit included remarks by Mike Zapata, a former US Navy SEAL who deployed multiple times to Afghanistan, Iraq, the Horn of Africa, and other locations in the Middle East and West Africa. Over 150 guests attended the event, which featured wines provided by Turquoise Life, beer by Montauk Brewing Co., bites from Navy Beach favorite menu items and music from local favorite Nancy Atlas. The event raised over $10,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation.
