Opening Day Of The Hampton Classic Horse Show

If you’re in the Hamptons, you already know that Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is hosting the U.S. Open this week. But did you know that one of the easiest ways to get there is by train?

For those of us who live in the Hamptons, expanded train service is something we talk about constantly, usually while sitting in traffic and pretending we are still enjoying the drive. This week, for the U.S. Open, we are getting a rare look at what public transportation on the East End can feel like when extra resources, planning, and actual momentum are involved.

Earlier this month, The Retreat held its annual All Against Abuse Gala, welcoming more than 200 attendees to a sold-out evening at the Southampton Arts Center. 

Last Saturday, two major athletic achievements in New York: I did Pilates for the first time in the Southampton Porsche dealership showroom, and there was also (apparently) a pretty big basketball game.

East End Taste transformed the Porsche Southampton showroom from a temple of horsepower into a golden-hour wellness studio with a private Pilates session led by the founder of Just Sculpted, health and wellness activations from Organic Edge, and a recovery station from DRIFT Wellness.
