The Opening Night Preview of the inaugural Hamptons Contemporary Design + Décor Fair at the Elks Fairground in Southampton on Friday night brought out Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan, and Thom Filicia, who couldn’t resist visiting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons Mobile Adoption Trailer. Filicia was so smitten with the adorable adoptees that he ended up giving one of the pups a forever home. The fair was also attended by Architectural Digest Publisher Giulio Capua, Douglas Elliman Chairman Howard Lorber, The Real Housewives of New York City star and Madame Paulette owner John Mahdessian, lifestyle expert Tracy Stern, and Million Dollar Contractor star Stephen Fanuka.

On Sunday, The Surf Lodge in Montauk presented a “secret concert” with the electronic trio Miike Snow. 200 guests were transported to the ballroom at the Montauk Yacht Club, including Cynthia Rowley and Ben Watts. Owner Jayma Cardoso told Billboard that until their permit issues are figured out, “the show must go on.”
