Art In General Hosts Annual Summer Celebration In Bridgehampton

Art in General, a New York City based nonprofit arts organization that assists artists with the presentation of new work, will hold its annual Summer Celebration in the Hamptons on Saturday, July 20 2013, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The fundraiser will consist of a casual cocktail hour at the Bridgehampton home of Lybess Sweezy and Ken Miller, two of the organization’s most supportive members. In addition to the cocktails, the evening will feature a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres. Guests will also be given the opportunity to view Sweezy and Miller’s extensive art collection.

All funds raised will support the organization’s programs, which include a foreign exchange program that allows New York and Eastern European artists to benefit from artistic education abroad and the New Commissions Program that helps artists create new work. The funds will also help support Art in General’s commissions, residencies, and unique exhibitions.
