Five East End Organizations Kicking Off February With Fundraisers

Whether you like to shop, sew, dine out, or bowl, here are five East End benefits that give back to local causes.

The Retreat (www.theretreatinc.org) and Alex & Ani (10 Jobs Lane, Southampton) are teaming up for the Charmed by Charity Shopping Event. On Tuesday, February 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m., 15% of all proceeds from the Southampton store will benefit The Retreat and support domestic violence services on the East End. Westhampton Beach Lacrosse Club is holding their 1st Annual Bowl Bash for Lax Fundraiser at Wildwood Bowl (3951 Lake Avenue, Riverhead) on Friday, February 6th. Check in begins at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $40. All proceeds will support the WHB Boy’s and Girl’s MS, JV and Varsity Lacrosse Teams. Hallockville Museum Farm is looking for sewists to join them on Saturday, February 7th from 1 to 3 p.m. Volunteers will assist design and then eventually create a “Hallockville Celebration Quilt” in honor of the 250th Anniversary celebration of the original Homestead. The 23rd Annual Westhampton Rotary Spaghetti Dinner will take place on Sunday, February 8th from 1 to 7 p.m. at Casa Basso Restaurant (59 Montauk Highway, Westhampton). Attendees will enjoy spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread and dessert. Admission is $12 for adults (12 and over), $10 for seniors (65 and over), and $10 for children (under 12).
