Once again, Navy Beach is paying tribute to Montauk’s Naval history and teaming up with the Navy SEAL Foundation. The Montauk hotspot is starting their summer partnership during the “Honoring our Warriors. Supporting their Families” benefit on Saturday, June 13th from 4 to 6 p.m.

“Navy Beach is honored to support the Navy SEAL Foundation for the third year in a row, and to build upon the results we achieved together in 2014,” said partner Frank Davis. “We feel fortunate to be able to put our efforts towards assisting the Navy SEAL Foundation ‘programs with purpose’ and in a small way supporting these warriors and their families.
“Honoring our Warriors. Supporting their Families” is the official kickoff to the third season of fundraising efforts at the East End eatery. During the event, supporters will be able to meet retired Navy SEALs and Navy SEAL Foundation representatives, as well as others from the Naval Special Warfare community. Attendees will also enjoy live music from Nancy Atlas, wines from Turquoise Life, beer from Brooklyn Brewery, and signature light bites from Navy Beach.
“The experience has been rewarding and the local community’s response and support has been tremendous. Navy Beach’s historical and geographical ties to the Navy offer the perfect backdrop to both celebrate and support the Foundation by raising funds for these elite, brave warriors and their families,” said Davis. “Many stories have been shared about the Naval Base that occupied our location and we are proud to build upon that history with our relationship with the Navy SEAL Foundation.”

Proceeds from the event will support the Navy SEAL Foundation, which provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. Navy Beach patrons will have the opportunity to support the Foundation each time they dine there. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, a donation of $1 will be added to each dining check in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation and diners can choose to increase the value of the donation, if they like. In an effort to beat the $20,000 raised for the Foundation last year, Navy Beach will yet again match the first $2,500 raised this season.
Admission to “Honoring our Warriors. Supporting their Families” is $40.
