The Michael Bolton Charities will present its annual Hamptons fundraising event, An Evening Under the Stars, at a private estate in Bridgehampton on Saturday, August 20th.
The Private Sponsor Reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner, an award presentation, dancing, and silent and live auction at 7:30 p.m. The evening will culminate with a performance from Michael Bolton at 9 p.m.
Over 200 guests are expected to attend the evening for delicious dinner, drinks, and a private performance by Michael Bolton himself. An Evening Under the Stars is held in honor of women and children who are victims of domestic violence. This year’s event will honor Ali and MLB Chief Baseball Officer, Joe Torre – Founders of The Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation – with the Michael Bolton Charities Lifetime Achievement Award for their work towards ending living with domestic violence.
The benefit will also celebrate the organization’s partnership with a local domestic violence agency. “A number of years ago, The Michael Bolton Charities partnered with The Retreat, a local East End domestic violence organization, on joint events in New York City – and it was a very positive collaboration,” remarked Jackie Smaga, Executive Director of The Michael Bolton Charities. “This year, The Michael Bolton Charities has selected The Retreat as our local charity of choice to partner with for An Evening Under the Stars.“
The Michael Bolton Charities is now in its 23rd year and is a consistent advocate and supporter of initiatives and organizations that respond to the needs of children and women at risk from domestic violence, physical and mental abuse, poverty, homelessness and human trafficking.
