The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center will host its 10th annual Get Wild fundraiser on Saturday, August 13th in the Channing Family Sculpture Garden.
From 6 to 8 p.m., you can spend the evening meeting the Hampton Bays-based Rescue Center’s furry friends and enjoy a cocktail party hosted by Molly Channing of Channing Daughters Vineyard. A VIP cocktail hour will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. The donations from Get Wild will make a huge difference in the lives of the injured and orphaned wildlife that inhabit the area.
“We are so excited to be having our 10th Get Wild! We are hoping for a larger than normal turnout,” said Shelley Berkoski, Director of Development. “The money from this event helps us provide food, housing, and medical care for the hundreds of injured animals we treat each year.”
Get Wild will feature live music, wine, light fare, a silent auction, and a meet-and-greet with the animals. The evening will honor Ingrid Arneberg and Will Marin, and the Honorary Co-Chairs are Frances Cole Jones and Cornelia Guest.
Other members of the Benefit Committee include Mary Beauchamp, Liz Brown, Ingrid Edelman, Jane Gill, Linda Lambert, Maryann Marston, Dianne Marxe Suzanne Obser, Avis Richards, Ellen and Chuck Scarborough, SunHe Sherwood-Dudley, Beth Ostrosky Stern, and Marcy Warren.
