Parrish Art Museum will kick-off the holiday season by presenting its annual Holiday Party & Market – a decades-long tradition of the Water Mill-based Museum that started as Parrish Presents.
“I’m delighted to be a part of this wonderful tradition at the Parrish where everyone is welcome,” said Parrish Trustee and Holiday Party Committee Member Alexandra Stanton. “Children can take part in art workshops, families can tour the galleries and make origami, and everyone can enjoy our great gift market and see the incredible exhibitions on view. Those who purchase tickets for the cocktail party help support the Parrish’s programs for the entire community all year long.”
The festivities will commence with a Patron Cocktail Party that benefits the Parrish’s year-round programs. Taking place on Friday, November 25th from 5 to 8 p.m., attendees can browse through exclusive vendors, enjoy live music and hors d’oeuvres, bid on designer accessories, jewelry, golf, hotel stays, and one-of-a-kind experiences during the silent auction, and meet artists Alex Beard, April Gornik, Mary Heilmann, Susan Meisel, and Donald Sultan; novelist Erica Abeel; and God’s Love We Deliver board member Jon Gilman, who will be taking part in book signings.

All visitors on Friday, November 25th (from 12 to 5 p.m.), and Saturday, November 26th )from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) can visit the Museum and shop at the impressive and vast gift market that will feature an array of vendors and goods such as Grain Surfboards and LSC Designs Fine & Estate Jewelry. Parrish members will receive an extra 20 percent discount on all full priced items for sale at the Museum Shop.
In addition to the shopping extravaganza, Parrish will offer activities for children throughout the weekend, including gallery tours and different art projects inspired by the current works on display. Michelle Halstead will lead an all-age origami class on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Artists Choose Artists will also be on display and open to all visitors throughout the weekend.
Entry to the Gift Market is free with Museum admission. Tickets to the Cocktail Party start at $150 for Members.
