Beth Stern and Friends will host Bash for the Bulldogs – Long Island Bulldog Rescue’s 2016 Holiday Fundraiser on Monday, December 12th at The London NYC Hotel from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Beth Stern, animal activist, actress and wife of radio legend Howard Stern; rapper, actor, reality TV star Ice-T and wife Coco Austin; Talk Stoop host Cat Greenleaf; Jason B. Hurwitz, producer of The Dog Wedding movie; and best-selling author Jill Rappaport are just a few of the VIPs that will appear on the red carpet to help the ground-breaking, New York-based Long Island Bulldog Rescue (LIBR) raise vital funds. LIBR helps to heal and home English Bulldogs until they can find their forever homes.
“It is the height of the Holiday Abandonment Season – when people leave puppies, injured and senior dogs to attend this year’s parties or go on vacation,” LIBR founder, Laurette Richin explained. “Also, when they are forced to surrender them because of expensive health costs and other circumstances that make it impossible for them to keep their dogs – LIBR responds NOW.”

LIBR fights to save as many English Bulldogs as they can, but numbers of abandoned dogs have recently skyrocketed.
This year’s Bash for the Bulldogs will include an evening of live jazz music, buffet dinner, cocktails, wine donated by Chatham Imports and a red carpet appearance from some of LIBR’s lovable Bulldogs. Sponsors include Bulldog Gin, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, novelist Patricia Cornwell and Staci Gruber, The RTA Store, and The Honest Kitchen.
There will also be a live auction packed with fabulous gift items for friends and family — perfect for the holidays that are right around the corner! Guests can also find unique items for the holidays, including artwork, jewelry, and exciting experiences, all while helping LIBR’s Bulldogs!
Tickets are $150 per person, or $300 for a VIP ticket.
All proceeds from the benefit will help, heal, and home abandoned, abused, neglected, injured, or ill English Bulldogs. Ticket purchases are tax deductible.
