Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach Holding 2nd Annual Winter Benefit

Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach will return to Seasons of Southampton on Saturday, December 7 to host the Riverhead-based organization’s 2nd Annual Winter Benefit.

“We are very excited to be hosting our 2nd Annual Winter Benefit supporting Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach. We had such a wonderful event last year, and we are looking forward to another fantastic evening at Seasons of Southampton,” Daniel O’Shea, MS, Maureen’s Haven Executive Director, relayed.

From 6 to 9 p.m. attendees will enjoy a festive evening in support of the organization’s mission to help the homeless on the East End of Long Island. “There will be drinks, dancing, and appetizers, as well as a chance to bid on a number of silent auction items,” O’Shea noted. The auction will feature a myriad of fabulous items donated from local East End businesses.

“I am always amazed at the generosity and the excitement of some many people who come out and support Maureen’s Haven,” O’Shea added. “We are truly blessed to have people from communities across the East End support our mission to help those who are most in need.”

Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach provides support services, emergency shelter and compassionate care to the homeless on the East End of Long Island. Throughout the past decade, Maureen’s Haven has provided shelter and services to over 3,500 clients. The non-profit operates a Day Center, located in Riverhead, that is open year-round. It serves as a place where the homeless can seek out when they need a break from the weather, or when in need of basic needs, food, and clothing. During the colder months, the non-profit also operates an Emergency Winter Shelter Program in partnership with houses of worship on both the North and South Forks. Additionally, Maureen’s Haven provides access to medical care, support services, case management, and housing assistance.

Tickets to Maureen’s Haven’s 2nd annual Winter Benefit are $50.
