Rhett Miller is back in the Hamptons for a performance at the Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-3117, stephentalkhouse.com) on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 7 p.m. Big Head Todd & The Monsters will follow at 9 p.m. and Revel In Dimes are on at 10 p.m. Kick the weekend off with a set from Buckwheat Zydeco at 8 p.m. and Party Rock!!! at 10 p.m. WIGJAM starts Saturday off at 8:30 p.m. and Hot Lava are on at 11 p.m. Sunday features Sonny Landreth at 8 p.m. and Reggae Night with #SUPER5000 at 10 p.m. Stop by Monday for a performance from Jeff LeBlanc at 8 p.m. and Outrageous Open Mic Night at 10 p.m. Marcia Ball takes the stage on Tuesday at 8 p.m., followed by Industry Night with MASH UP at 10 p.m.
Navy Beach (16 Navy Road, Montauk, 631-668-6868, www.navybeach.com) has a set from Nancy Atlas on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Conscience Point Promotions is presenting a weekend of reggae at Taps (1271 North Sea Road, Southampton, 631-259-2998). Head there Friday to hear Project Vibe staring at 10 p.m. Reggae Acoustic Sundays live on the Deck will feature Souliztik from 6 to 9 p.m.
Beach Bar Hamptons (58 Foster Avenue, Hampton Bays, 631-723-3100, beachbarhamptons.com) is hosting Forever 80′s with music by DJ/Producer Johnny Budz and resident DJ Doug O’Mara on Friday night.

After its summer 2014 debut weekend at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, Sound Waves is returning to The Montauk Beach House (55 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, 631-668-2112, thembh.com) for the rest of the 5-week music and fashion series. Sound Waves is joining forces with The Montauk Beach House’s “Don’t Want to Go Back” Sundays for an unforgettable way to end the week. Stop by from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a set by Harry McNally and other surprises.
The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort (90 Second House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2105, www.soleeast.com) is holding a special screening of Crystal and Dave Homcy’s “Beyond the Surface” on Sunday at 6 p.m. The documentary follows India’s first female surfer, Ishita Malaviya, and other talented women including Crystal Thornburg-Homcy, Liz Clark, Lauren Hill, Emi Koch, and Kate Baldwin. Admission is free and cocktails, a BBQ, and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the evening will support the Rell Sunn Surf Contest Benefit (www.facebook.com) and the East End Foundation (www.eastendcf.org).
