Conscience Point Promotions is presenting a weekend of reggae at Taps (1271 North Sea Road, Southampton, 631-259-2998). Head there Friday to hear Project Vibe staring at 10 p.m. Reggae Acoustic Sundays live on the Deck will feature Souliztik from 6 to 9 p.m.

Sound Waves is joining forces with The Montauk Beach House’s “Don’t Want to Go Back” Sundays for an unforgettable way to end the week. The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort (90 Second House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2105, www.soleeast.com) is holding a special screening of Crystal and Dave Homcy’s “Beyond the Surface” on Sunday at 6 p.m. The documentary follows India’s first female surfer, Ishita Malaviya, and other talented women including Crystal Thornburg-Homcy, Liz Clark, Lauren Hill, Emi Koch, and Kate Baldwin. Admission is free and cocktails, a BBQ, and raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
