Ready to ring in the New Year? Here’s where to raise a glass to 2018 in the Hamptons.
The day before NYE, Southampton Historical Museum (17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton, 631-283-2494, www.southamptonhistoricalmuseum.org) is closing out 2018 by presenting its annual Rogers Mansion by Candlelight. The candlelight reception on Saturday, December 30 will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m., when guests can explore the parlors and sitting rooms which are exquisitely decorated with festive garlands of fresh winter greens and flowers, and Christmas trees decked with bright antique holiday decorations. Admission is $10 for adults, and free for members and children 17-years-old and under.

Centro Trattoria & Bar (336 Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-594-5744, www.centrohamptons.com) is presenting a special a la carte menu seating at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and a 3-course special menu seating at 9 p.m. – which when a DJ will officially get the party started. The evening will also include a midnight champagne toast.
Lulu Kitchen and Bar (126 Main Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-0900 www.lulusagharbor.com) is offering two NYE seatings – at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. At 9 p.m., Alfredo Merat will kick-off the festivities with live music and attendees will also receive festive favors.
Cowfish (258 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-594-3868, cowfishrestaurant.com) is hosting a New Year’s Eve Champagne & Confetti Celebration with a four-course dinner, live entertainment, dancing, balloon drop, and a champagne toast at midnight. The prix fixe menu begins at 6 p.m. and admission is $90.
You can once again Laugh, Dine and Dance in the New Year at Suffolk Theater (118 East Main Street, Riverhead, 631-727-4343, www.suffolktheater.com). Following standup from Scott Schendlinger, Eric Haft, and Carie Karavas, stick around for music from DJ Phil, and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Admission begins at $45.
For a family-friendly affair, try Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center’s (431 East Main Street, Riverhead, 631-208-9200, www.longislandaquarium.com) Fishes & Wishes. From 6:30 to 11 p.m., partygoers will be treated to food, entertainment, a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, DJ, crafts for the little ones, sweets – including an ice cream bar, a mock-Midnight champagne and sparkling cider toast at 10:30 p.m., and a special meet and greet with one of the Aquarium’s adorable penguins. Admission is $60 for children 3 to 12-years-old, $99 for adults and children over 12-years-old, and free for children 2-years-old and under.

New Year’s Eve at the Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-3117, stephentalkhouse.com) kicks off with GE Smith, Fred Cash Jr. and Abe Fogle at 8 p.m., followed by The Nancy Atlas Project at 10 p.m. Tickets are $40.
Southampton Social Club’s (256 Elm Street, Southampton, 631-287-1400, www.southamptonsocialclub.com) New Year’s Eve Party will feature a champagne toast at midnight, party favors, hors d’oeuvres, a 4-hour open bar with top shelf liquor brands, coverage of the ball drop live from Times Square and music by DJ Drazen. Admission begins at $95 per person, and attendees have the option to add a 4-course dinner, presented by award winning Chef Scott Kampf and bottle service, to their celebration. The NYE celebration will take place from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. and dinner seating will be available from 7 to 10 p.m.

Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa (290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, 631-668-2345, www.gurneysmontauk.com) is ringing in the New Year with live music by The Rakiem Walker Project, a DJ set by Vikas Sapra, casino games, an open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., lite bites, and more. Attendees are encouraged to don their most glamorous sequins and admission is $165.
Union Cantina’s (40 Bowden Square, Southampton, 631-377-3500, www.unioncantina.net) New Year’s Eve party will kick-off at 9 p.m. The evening will include a 4 hour top shelf open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a midnight toast, party favors, coverage of the Times Square ball drop, and more. Admission begins at $75 and partygoers can start the evening with a 4-course dinner, presented by Chef Scott Kampf, for $100 per person. Additionally, there will be live music from The Tres Amigos from 10 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Topping Rose House’s (1 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, 631-537-0870, www.toppingrosehouse.com) end of the year soiree will feature an open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., music from a dynamic DJ, hors d’oeuvres, and a champagne toast. Admission is $100. Also, a $98 four course prix fixe menu will be available from 5:30 to 11 p.m.
Southampton Inn (91 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-6500, www.southamptoninn.com) is presenting its 20th annual New Year’s Eve Gala this year. All are welcome for dessert, drinks, dancing, a live screening of the Times Square ball drop and a midnight champagne toast. The festivities start at 10:30 p.m. and admission (for non-hotel guests) is $75.
