Life@Nite: The Hamptons 2018 Labor Day Weekend Edition

With Tumbleweed Tuesday nearly here, the time to revel in summer 2018 is now.

Montauk:

Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa (290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, www.gurneysmontauk.com) will have a set from Adam Lipson at The Firepit on Wednesday, August 29 at 6 p.m. Tommy Virgas at The Firepit on Thursday at 6 p.m. The weekend will kick-off with Stef Nava at The Firepit at 6 p.m. Saturday will bring John Spinosa to The Beach Club at 12 p.m., Rakiem Walker to The Firepit at 6 p.m., followed by Chachi at 9 p.m. Sunday will commence with Disco Killerz & D-SOL at The Beach Club at 1 p.m. and Konect Dat at The Firepit at 6 p.m.

George’s Lighthouse Café (2000 Montauk Highway, Montauk, www.georgeslighthousecafe.com) will have music from Omar on Thursday, August 30 from 12 to 2 p.m., Annie Trezza on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by Nancy Atlas from 5:30 p.m. to sunset. Saturday will showcase the Out of Hand Band from 1 to 4 p.m. and The Sturdy Souls from 5 to 8 p.m., while Sunday will bring Jetty Koon from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sauce on the Side from 5 p.m. to sunset, and finally, on Monday the Waylon Brothers are headlining from 2 to 6 p.m.

The Surf Lodge’s (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, www.thesurflodge.com) Summer Concert Series will wrap up with Janelle Monáe on Friday, Leland and Frenship on Saturday, and Skylar Grey on Sunday. Downtown hotspot The Flower Shop is celebrating a limited edition collection of tee-shirts designed in collaboration with surf brand RVCA during a party at The Surf Lodge on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Sloppy Tuna’s (148 South Emerson Avenue, Montauk www.lisloppytuna.com) LDW festivities will include sets from Jes Button on Friday, Jason Drazen on Saturday, another set from Drazen on Sunday during the day, followed by the return of Jes Button during the night party hosted by RJ Styles.

Swallow East (474 West Lake Drive, Montauk, www.swalloweastrestaurant.com) will have sets from Hello Brooklyn on Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Strecker on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Royal Kahoz on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Amagansett:

Tuesday at Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, stephentalkhouse.com) brings Ricky and the Rockets featuring GE Smith – Supertramp’s Rick Davies, Mike Reilly of Pure Prairie League, and Friends – at 8 p.m. and LHT at 10 p.m. On Wednesday, Ricky and The Rockets featuring GE Smith – Supertramp’s Rick Davies, Mike Reilly of Pure Prairie League, and Friends – are back at 8 p.m. and then it’s karaoke with Helen “The Diva” McGuire at 10 p.m. Big Sam’s Funky Nation kicks Thursday off at 8 p.m., followed by Hot Lava at 10 p.m. On Friday, it’s Insane Asylum – to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation – at 6 p.m. and Hot Date Band at 10 p.m. Saturday showcases Low Cut Connie at 8 p.m. and Hello Brooklyn at 10 p.m. On Sunday, it’s Lez Zeppelin at 8 p.m. and Rubix Kube at 10 p.m.

Sagaponack:

Wolffer Tasting Room (139 Sagg Road, Sagaponack) will have Morris Goldberg as part of Twilight Thursdays – while sunset sets at the Wolffer Wine Stand (3312 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, 631-537-5106, www.wolffer.com) will bring Hoo Doo Loungers on Friday and Inda Eaton on Saturday. Sets begin around 5 p.m.

“The Ryan Show” featuring Cuban Link – a melting pot of comedy and live music – is coming to Old Stove Pub (3516 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, www.eventbrite.com) on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Townline BBQ’s (3593 Townline Road, Sagaponack, www.townlinebbq.com) Friday The Bands, Brews & BBQ concert will feature After Party, who will take the stage at 6 p.m.

Sag Harbor:

A Labor Day All-American Cookout at Baron’s Cove (31 West Water Street, Sag Harbor, www.baronscove.com) will take place on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Attendees can nosh on bratwursts, Karl Ehmer hot dogs, and corn on the cob, sip on refreshing cocktails, and enjoy live entertainment from 2 to 5 p.m.

Bridgehampton:

Looking for something more substantial than a summer fling? @RoseSeason is hosting Rosé Romance, the launch party for Cove, a new dating app for those interested in “progressing deeper conversations, without losing time,” at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. The afternoon will include speed dating, beats by DJ Rosé, a DIY flower bouquet station by East Olivia, and specialty cocktails curated by Cove.
