2014 Southampton SeptemberFest: Saturday Schedule Of Activities

The Fourth Annual Southampton SeptemberFest is the perfect way to spend the first weekend of fall. The Hamptons Festival begins with the SeptemberFest Kick-Off Cocktail Party at Agawam Park on Friday, September 26, and will run through Sunday, September 28, 2014. Here’s the list of activities for Saturday, September 27th:


10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Farmers Market: Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and their crafts at the Southampton Arts Center grounds (25 Jobs Lane)

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Harvest Day Fair: Celebrate life in the 19th Century with demonstrations and activities for the whole family at Southampton Historical Museum (17 Meeting House Lane)

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Juried Art Exhibition: A visual celebration of work by East End Artists at Southampton Cultural Center (25 Pond Lane)

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fun for the Kids: Face painting, airbrush tattoos, pumpkin decorating and more at the Southampton Arts Center grounds

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friends of the Library Book Sale: Stock up on your favorite reads at the Southampton Arts Center grounds

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Art Vendors in the Park: Vendors exhibiting paintings, sculptures, photography and more at Agawam Park (Jobs Lane)

12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Jester Jim Juggling, beatbox and comedy at Southampton Arts Center grounds

12 to 2 p.m. Chowder Contest: Cast your vote for which chowder is the “Best of the Hamptons” at Agawam Park

12 to 5 p.m. Maniac Pumpkin Carvers: Come watch them create unique carvings and get inspired at Agawam Park

12 to 5 p.m. Downtown music: Stroll through the Village and enjoy live music by Eastbound Freight, Mick Hargreaves, Cassandra House, Trouble & Salerno and Jim Turner

12 to 5 p.m. Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Performers: Be enthralled by strolling entertainment at Southampton Arts Center grounds

12 to 6 p.m. Concerts in the Park with performances by The Next Level Band, Inda Eaton and Caroline Doctorow and The Steamrollers at Agawam Park

12 to 6 p.m. “Taste of the East End:” Indulge with a wide array of food and drink at Agawam Park

12 to 7 p.m. Art Show and Opening: Art show and opening reception of Cut Stories: Beatrice Coron at Southampton Arts Center

7 p.m. Center Stage Showstopper Showcase: Enjoy a musical showcase of Broadway tunes at Southampton Cultural Center
