Food Bank For New York City hosted their annual Can Do Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 9, at Cipriani Wall Street. This year, Dorothea Bongiovi and Toyota were honored for their dedication to ending poverty and hunger.
Cat Greenleaf, host of NBC’s “Talk Stoop with Cat Greenleaf,” served as emceed of the event which raised over $2 million.
Presenters included Mario Batali, Tom Colicchio and Chris Canty. Also there to support the cause were Jon Bon Jovi, Ted Allen, Selita Ebanks, Josh Charles, Rachael Ray, Jill Hennessy, Michael Stipe, Lauren Bush Lauren, Kelly Bensimon, Lori Silverbush, David Lauren, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, David Burke, Katie Lee, Nastia Liukin, Sasha Cohen, Alysia Reiner, and David Alan Basche.

Food Bank For New York City is the city’s major hunger-relief organization working to end food poverty throughout the five boroughs. They support nearly 1.5 million New Yorkers who rely on their programs and services to put food on the table.
