What happens when two social publicists throw a party? A room filled to capacity and lots of air kissing. New BFFs, Catherine Petree and Norah Lawlor routinely each fill ballrooms. But they wittled their guest list down to 80 of their most “intimate” glam friends in Swifty’s backroom, when they threw a holiday bash to fete, “Manners That Matter Most,” the new book by June Eding, for which Lawlor wrote the forward. Owner/Chef Stephen Attoe sent out his sugared bacon, mushroom puff pastry and grilled cheese appetizers, among other morsels. When you are in a Mario Buatta and Anne Eisenhower decorated room celebrating manners, there is nothing like Attoe’s classic cuisine for the holidays.
Also in the room: Robert Caravaggi (Co-owner of Swifty’s Restaurant), Andrew Flach (Hatherleigh Press), Ryan Tumambing (Hatherleigh Press), Jean Shafiroff (Philanthropist), Angelo David Pisacreta (Angelo David Salon), George Wayne (Vanity Fair contributor), Kathleen Hearst, Robin Cofer, May Pang, Sharon Bush, Jane Pontarelli, Fernanda Capobianco, Michele Gerber Klein, Sharon King Hoge, Marie Michelle Heinemann, Barbara Regna.
