Spring doesn’t get any better than it did last week as Hamptons.com celebrated the launch of its new website and kicked off the busy Hamptons social season. Duck Walk Vineyard in Water Mill played host to the over 250 movers and shakers from across the Hamptons and NYC who came out to enjoy the sunset both on the vineyard grounds and online watching the Hamptons.com live streaming Beach Cam and Harbor Cam on workstations set up on the tasting room bar.

The star of the evening was the newly redeveloped and redesigned Hamptons.com. A local directory resource since 1994 and an online magazine since 2004, Hamptons.com’s website was completely overhauled by Hamptons Online over the winter. The website features larger images, live streaming cameras, and even more about the Hamptons than ever before all wrapped up in a glossy new package. Over drinks party guests clicked around the website and talked about their favorite sections and articles then debated favorite cams.

As the Jim Turner Band played, guests including Terry and John Tortorella of J. Tortorella Pools and Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley and wife Marianne spoke animatedly about recent trips and vacations while milling about the generously laden market table from Insatiable Eats and sampling brews from Montauk Brewing Company. We also raised a glass of Duck Walk Vineyards Merlot as we caught up with Mary Kleen of Pisa Brothers Travel, Christine Curaile of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Blake Fulmer of Tamara Comolli Fine Jewelry, Bob Immacoloato and Diane Lynn of Twin Pines Realty, Andrea Gurvitz of KG Media, Stephen Long of the Children’s Museum of the East End, Jodi Brewer of Southampton Hospital, Dr. Kevin Braat and Lorraine Vassallo of ENT and Allergy Associates, Stan Glinka of Bridgehampton National Bank, and Vinny Nuzzolese, Sr. of Nuzzolese Ice and scores more.

After the sun set the band turned up the volume and guests really let their hair down. While some danced others, including Jodi Giambrone of Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, showed off their vocal chops singing along at the microphone.

The evening, sponsored by M&T Bank, Crystal & Company, Pisa Brothers Travel, and Devon & Pembrokeshire Moving & Storage, was topped off by a generous summer tote bag emblazoned with the Hamptons.com logo filled with goodies by Caudalie, LypSyl, Aquaphor, Nivea, Tate’s, and Polar Seltzer.
