On Friday, June 10th, Hamptons.com kicked off the summer with our annual Connections & Cocktails party. Presented by Bridgehampton National Bank, this year’s soiree at Southampton Social Club brought out over 200 of our closest friends.

Before entering the bash, guests checked out impressive rides from a few of our supporting sponsors, which included BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mini Cooper, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. Once inside the party, attendees took a chance on a variety of raffle prizes from Clyde’s Restaurant at Southampton Inn, Stephen Talkhouse, Marders, Lexington Company, Southampton Publick House, Karamba Restaurant, and Union Cantina Restaurant. Thanks to the generosity of partygoers, we sold nearly 100 tickets, with all proceeds supporting Southampton Hospital.
As guests caught up with old friends and made a few new ones, they sipped on the evening’s specialty cocktail, “The Connector,” a refreshing vodka, lemonade, and blueberry mixture, and noshed on signature bites from Southampton Social Club, including lobster mac & cheese bites, seafood tacos, lamb chops and more. AGES Events DJ Entertainment, who provided the music, was such a hit at our last party that we had to have them again this year, and yes, the photobooth was in high demand again. Once again, Hamptons.com Publisher Joe Kazickas presented Bridgehampton National Bank Marketing Director Claudia Pilato with a generous check from the Kazickas Family Foundation for $10,000, in support of All for the East End (AFTEE). “How lucky are we to live here; to be able to be here?” asked Pilato. “This is all about connections. Thank-you to Hamptons.com for making this kind of an opportunity available. A lot of us know each other, we come into these situations and we really enjoy having the opportunity to talk to each other, to do business with each other. That’s really what community is really about, and that’s what Bridgehampton National Bank is all about.” She spoke about the significance of the community group. “All for the East End, because we are all for the East End, is an organization that makes grants available to the thousand non-profit organizations on the East End of Long Island, through a grant process. We couldn’t do it without the donations of many people, including Hamptons.com who has been very committed to us. Because all of us love the East End so much, we have this opportunity through AFTEE to help the non-profit organizations who make our life richer.”
As partygoers departed the soiree, they were thrilled to learn that they would be leaving with an impressive swag bag that included items from Madison and Mulholland, Big Geyser Inc., Purity Organic Juice, Sparkling Ice, White Cloud Charter Jet Services, Deep River Snacks, Care of Maidstone, Fekkai, Nad’s, Chef’s Cut Real Jerky, Sinful Colors, and Nunzio Saviano.
