What began as a small dream has grown into a beloved tradition shared with PBT dancers, families, and the entire East End community. “ I’m profoundly grateful for the love, support, and trust that have allowed us to continue creating magic on stage year after year, and I offer a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has help make this production what it is today.” said, Christiana Bitonti – Fisher (Artistic Director) It just wouldn’t be the holidays in Westhampton Beach without this magical classic and we look forward to continuing this cherished tradition for years to come.”
Since debuting its first Nutcracker in 2010, Peconic Ballet Theatre has transformed the classic story into a signature production known for its charming storytelling, vibrant choreography, and the exceptional talent of its young dancers. Over the past fifteen years, thousands of audience members have joined Clara on her magical journey, making PBT’s Nutcracker one of the region’s most beloved family experiences.

Founded in 2009, Peconic Ballet Theatre has grown from a small local studio into a premier center for pre-professional dance training on the East End. Under the guidance of founder Christiana Bitonti-Fisher, the theatre has cultivated numerous dedicated dancers, expanded its performance repertoire, and established a deeply rooted presence in the community through its commitment to artistic excellence and education.
“Celebrating fifteen years of The Nutcracker is truly special,” said Christiana Bitonti-Fisher, Founder of Peconic Ballet Theatre. “So many dancers have passed through this production over the years—from young children discovering the stage for the first time to advanced students flourishing as performers. This year’s show honors their hard work, our PBT family, and the joy this story brings to audiences each holiday season.”

This year’s anniversary production will feature updated choreography, exquisite costumes, and all the beloved scenes audiences return for year after year—including the Snowflakes, the Waltz of the Flowers, and the Land of Sweets. Performed on the historic WHBPAC Mainstage, the production highlights the extraordinary talent and dedication of PBT’s students, who train year-round to bring this holiday classic to life.
