At Town Hall in East Hampton, Police Officer Ken Alversa received a Proclamation from the Town, as “East Hampton Town Police Officer of the Year”. Supervisor Larry Cantwell made the presentation, praising and thanking Ken for his hard work, professionalism, and work with East Hampton High School and the Montauk Fire Department, where he volunteers. Michael D. Sarlo, East Hampton Town Police Department Chief of Police, looked on with pride. Fellow Officers attended to show their support for the 8-year veteran of the EHTPD.
