The 2016 Holiday Hamptons Showhouse, presented by Hamptons Cottages and Garden, will kick off during an Opening Night White Party on Saturday, June 18th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. “Celebrating the best in interior design and holiday entertaining while supporting the fight against breast cancer,” 100 Crescent Avenue in Water Mill will serve as this year’s piece de resistance.
“This special one-of-a-kind home, with its custom architectural details and artistic vision that complements the surrounding landscape, is a natural fit for Holiday House Hamptons,” explained Linda Haugevik, Associate Broker, Douglas Elliman, who the property is listed with. “Thank you Iris Dankner for planting a heart into a home. And my heartfelt thank you for your dedication to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. You certainly deliver.”
Natural stone, warm wood, and structural steel, mixed with modern elements give the home a traditional Hamptons vibe. The extraordinary rooftop tennis court (of classic turf) is certainly a highlight, as is the infinity pool and spa that overlooks the bay and ocean and fluttering wildflowers. This year’s home offers over 13,000 sq. ft. of living space, accompanied by more than 9000 sq. ft. of stone patios and mahogany decks, located on more than 2 acres of Mecox Bay waterfront.
The 2016 Showhouse participants include 2Michaels, Anne Tarasoff Interiors, Baltimore Design Group, Barbara Ostrom & Associates, Carmiña Roth Interiors, LLC., Chad James Group, Dorfman+ Sag Harbor/NYC, Elizabeth Dow Home, HB Home, Jolie Korek & Co., KARA MANN, LIAIGRE, Mabley Handler Interior Design, Maddux Creative, Melanie Roy Design, Sasha Bikoff Interior Design, Timothy Brown Studio, Unlimited Earth Care by Frederico Azevedo, V Starr by Venus Williams, Wesley Moon, Inc. and West Chin Architects & Interior Designers.

Holiday House was founded by Iris Dankner, who wanted to find a unique way to combine her two passions — interior design and fundraising for breast cancer research. She established the organization in 2008, and the original location at the historic Academy Mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side became the first designer showhouse in New York City that benefitted a breast cancer organization. This marks the third annual Holiday House Hamptons.
The Holiday Hamptons Showhouse will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday through Monday. The Showhouse will stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
The Holiday Hamptons Showhouse is located at 100 Crescent Avenue in Water Mill. For more information, call 212-472-3313 or visit www.holidayhousehamptons.com. For more information about the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, visit www.bcrfcure.org.
