Richard Gere is ready to move on from his twelve-bedroom Hamptons home that sits on 6.3 acres of waterfront property. So much so that the “An Officer and a Gentleman” actor dropped the price by $9 million.
The estate, Strongheart Manor, was put on the market in July of 2013, shortly before Gere split from his wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell. The original asking price was $65 million.

The North Haven mansion located along Actors Colony Road was built in 1902. The waterfront location which includes a 2,000-square-foot main house, has been updated with amenities like granite countertops, two additional guest homes, and an outdoor fireplace pavilion. It also features a tea house out front of the middle of a pond.
Gere’s Hamptons oasis is listed with Sotheby’s International Realty for $56 million.
