Hamptons-Based Real Estate Agency Acquires Pospisil Real Estate

Town & Country, a Hamptons-based real estate agency, recently announced that they have expanded with the acquisition of Montauk-based Pospisil Real Estate.

“I felt it was a perfect fit – Town & Country has the same business ethics and is deeply rooted in the hamlets they have offices in – just the way Pospisil has been,” explained Pospisil Real Estate owner Marge Harvey. Pospisil Real Estate was founded by Ed Pospisil in 1961. Following several years of working alongside Pospisil, Harvey took over the firm in 1995.

After connecting with Judi Desiderio, the CEO and Founder of Town & Country, Harvey realized it was time for a major change. While she had been approached to sell Pospisil Real Estate several times in the past, the deal just never felt right, until now. Harvey, her associates, and Desiderio are all thrilled about the new merger. “It is a match made in heaven,” added Desiderio.
