Village Latch Inn Hotel, a country house hotel owned by Marta and Martin White for nearly 40 years, was recently purchased by Beechwood Latch LLC for $23,000,000.

Located at 101 Hill Street, close to the heart of Southampton Village, the property has operated as a hotel since 1901. Over the years, Village Latch Inn has hosted the likes of several impressive guests, including Vice President Joe Biden, who stayed there when he was senator, former First Lady Jackie Kennedy, former Vice President Al Gore, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, actor Michael J. Fox, actress Kate Hudson, actress Anne Hathaway and actor Bill Murray.

The Southampton-based inn featured over five acres with seven buildings that have an authentic Great Gatsby-style. Its main hotel, which was designed by architect Sanford White, had 25 guest rooms and the additional buildings added another 42 rooms, each of which brought its own unique charm, as none of the rooms were decorated in the same manner. The Hamptons escape also showcased an outdoor oasis that boasts pristinely landscaped grounds, a swimming pool and tennis court.
