Douglas Elliman’s New Montauk Office To Be Nearly Triple The Size Of Previous Space

Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the largest brokerage in the New York Metropolitan area and the fourth largest residential real estate company nationwide, is expanding its East End presence with the opening of a new office in Montauk.

The 2,300 square-foot space – located at 99 The Plaza – is expected to be open by early summer 2018.

“Douglas Elliman continues to dominate the local landscape, and with this newest office expansion we are building upon our growing success,” noted Carl Benincasa, Vice President of Sales for the Hamptons. “We are so excited to boost our presence in such a beautiful and important part of the East End community.”

For nearly a decade Douglas Elliman has operated out of the Circle in Montauk, and this new space, the former Calypso store in The Plaza, is approximately three times larger in area than Elliman’s current Montauk locale.

“As our new location is almost four times the size of our existing Montauk space, it will provide an even more inviting atmosphere for our agents and clients,” Benincasa added.

After Douglas Elliman relocates, the new space can house approximately 25 agents, which will better suit the growing needs of the business, says Benincasa.

DE Operations Managers Barbara Mattson and Timothy Kelly, along with Benincasa will share management duties.
