
Just in time for the 2022 summer season, Rita Cantina reopens in the bay-front hamlet Springs with a slew of new offerings. Following a rapidly successful launch in May 2021, Rita Cantina has distinguished itself as an East End favorite among locals and visitors alike. Executive Chef Eric Miller resumes at the helm of the culinary team, while Adam Miller spearheads the bar program and operations. This year, the popular and inviting neighborhood gem debuts a new menu of Mexican-inspired food and drink that can now be enjoyed amongst the charming ambiance of a sandy outdoor patio.
“After an exciting opening season, we eagerly return to our beloved Springs community this summer, welcoming familiar faces and embracing new visitors,” says Chef and Owner Eric Miller. “We are also thrilled to now host guests outdoors and launch some exciting new additions to our menu, from our Rita Clambake experience to refreshing, seasonal margaritas, frozen, bottled, or on draft.”

Rita Cantina, known for their flavorful and coastal seafood-forward menu of ceviches, tacos, and large plates, will be introducing locally-sourced dishes from Gardiner’s Bay and nearby East End purveyors. Chef Eric Miller continues to harness his deep relationships with independent local fishermen and farmers, like Satur Farms, Multi Aquaculture System, and Gosman’s Dock, guaranteeing the kitchen access to the freshest ingredients.
As always, guests at Rita Cantina can enjoy a delightful lineup of Mexican-spirit-forward beverages comprising various tequilas and mezcals. The program carries eighteen mezcals, twenty-eight tequilas, and six Agave-based spirits. Additional Mexican spirits include Whiskey, Rum, and Digestif. For the 2022 season, Beverage Director Adam Miller’s refreshing cocktail menu offers Classic and Flavored Margaritas with tequila, spicy tequila, mezcal, or spicy mezcal.

Rita Cantina is located at 28 Maidstone Park Road, East Hampton, NY. The restaurant serves dinner Wednesday to Sunday; 4-10 pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday; 4-11 pm Friday and Saturday. The space offers Daily Happy Hour from 4 pm-6 pm featuring $1 oysters and $10 margaritas. The bar is open every evening until close.
