The ultimate Hamptons dog event is back! On Saturday, October 11th, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) will host its 32nd Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk at Mulford Farm (10 James Lane) in East Hampton. Whether you walk with your own dog, in memory of a beloved pet, or in support of ARF, it’s bound to be a great event for everyone.
The gates will open at 9 a.m., followed by Contests & Prizes at the Stage at 9:45 a.m., and the walk to Main Beach will kick off at 11 a.m. The raffles and silent auction will close at 11:45 p.m.
“The best thing you can do for yourself, body, mind, and spirit, is join us for the Stroll to the Sea,” said Kim Nichols, Executive Director of ARF Hamptons. “Spending time outdoors, surrounded by wagging tails and fellow animal lovers, reminds us how powerful the human-animal bond is. And with every step, you’re helping us rescue and care for dogs and cats who are waiting for their second chance.”
Set on the grounds of one of America’s most significant and well-preserved English Colonial farmsteads, attendees can expect a variety of vendors and photo opportunities. Designer and Bridgehampton local Isaac Mizrahi will kick off the festivities with a pre-walk awards celebration. There will also be contests and prizes before the two-mile walk to Main Beach and back.
All registrants will receive an event t-shirt with original artwork by Isaac Mizrahi, a tote bag, refreshments, and access to vendor booths and activities. Special rewards will be given to those who reach fundraising milestones.
