On Friday, June 12th, the U.S. Open Championship Trophy arrived at the new Shinnecock Hills Station on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). President of the Long Island Rail Road Robert Free accompanied the trophy aboard the LIRR and was welcomed by USGA Senior Director Eric Steimer at the station.
