The summer art scene in the Hamptons has been growing in leaps and bounds over the past five years and now hosts three major events showcasing the finest in art from across the globe. Kicking off the season this year will be Art Soutampton, July 9 – 13, 2015, at the sprawling 90-acre Nova’s Ark Project in Bridgehampton. The contemporary art fair now in it’s fourth year in the Hamptons is helmed by Art Miami’s Nick Korniloff and will open with an exclusive VIP Preview on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
“We have fulfilled our mission of bringing a world-class art fair to the world class community of Southampton over the last three years and now are realigning our dates and location for our patrons convenience,” says Korniloff in a statement to Hamptons.com. “This move to a more central location in Bridgehampton will allow easier access for all of our collectors on the East End. Furthermore, the extraordinary sculpture ground that the late Nova Mihai Popa and his life partners Tundra Wolf and Luna Shanaman created is the perfect setting for our fair”.
“We are delighted to welcome Art Southampton to Nova’s Ark Project in 2015. The combination of this sophisticated art event, set amongst the towering sculptures of founder-artist Nova is an exciting match – a wonderful combination of art and natural beauty” said Nova’s Ark co-founder Tundra Wolf.
