On Friday, August 14th through Sunday, August 16th, the Montauk Artists’ Association will present the 21st annual Montauk Show on the Green. Ranked one of Long Island’s top fine art festivals, the fair showcases works from artists based across America, as well as worldwide.
Held on the Village Green, attendees will view and have the opportunity to browse through original creations in several mediums like painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, woodworking and more. Those looking for an extra special piece can even have artwork commissioned specially for them. Several of the featured artists are represented in the nation’s most prestigious private art collections and public institutions.
Fairgoers will have the unique opportunity to speak with featured artists and learn how their artwork came to fruition. “Be open to the sense of discovery and beauty you will experience and what you will undoubtedly learn of yourself in the process,” Montauk Artists’ Association advises attendees.
