Hamptons International Film Festival Screening Several Academy Award® Nominated Films

Before the 8​9th Annual Academy Awards airs on​ Sunday, February 26th, brush up on the nominated shorts when the Hamptons International Film Festival, along with Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures, present several Academy Award® nominated films on Saturday, February 11th at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor.

The screening will include:

Program 1:
12 p.m. – 2017 Oscar-Nominated Short Films: Animated (90 minutes)
2 p.m. – 2017 Oscar-Nominated Short Films: Live Action (130 minutes)

Program 2:

5 p.m. – 2017 Oscar-Nominated Short Films: Animated (90 minutes)
7 p.m. – 2017 Oscar-Nominated Short Films: Live Action (130 minutes)

Films that were part of the 2016 HIFF received a record-breaking 45 Oscar nominations, including Timecode and Blind Vaysha. Once again, HIFF screened four of the Best Picture nominees – La La Land, Lion, Manchester by the Sea, and Moonlight. Other nominees that were screened at HIFF include 20th Century Women, Fire at Sea, I Am Not Your Negro, Joe’s Violin, Loving, The Red Turtle, The Salesman, Toni Eedmann, and The White Helmets.

Admission is $14 per screening ($12 for HIFF members) and $24 per program ($20 for HIFF members).
