With the 27th iteration less than a month away, Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) has revealed that the remaining spotlight films will include Tom Harperโs The Aeronauts, Rian Johnsonโs Knives Out, Marc Meyersโ Human Capital (also screening as part of Views From Long Island), Scott Z. Burnsโ The Report, Franรงois Girardโs The Song of Names, and Bruce Springsteen and Thom Zimnyโs concert documentary Western Stars.

These selections will thrill viewers and ignite thoughtful and passionate conversations throughout the Festival.โ
The Aeronauts, which stars Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne, follows fearless balloon pilot Amelia Wren (Jones) who joins forces with innovative meteorologist James Glaisher (Redmayne) on a record breaking quest to both advance scientific discovery and soar higher than anyone before them.
Adapted from Paolo Virzรฌโs award-winning 2013 film and Stephen Amidonโs 2004 novel of the same name, Human Capital revolves around two families whose lives become despondently connected in the aftermath of a spur of the moment financial investment. The film stars Liev Schreiber, Peter Sarsgaard, Marisa Tomei, Maya Hawke, and Alex Wolff.
Political thriller The Report delves into U.S. Select Committee on Intelligence staffer Daniel Jonesโ (Adam Driver) investigation into the CIAโs Detention and Interrogation Program, focusing on the use of โenhanced interrogation techniquesโ post-9/11.
The Song of Names takes a look at what happened to a young Polish musical prodigy who disappeared on the eve of what was to be his first public performance. Decades later, Martin (Tim Roth) decides to investigate what happened to his childhood friend.
Western Stars captures music legend Bruce Springsteenโs performance of tracks from his nineteenth studio album for a private audience at the musicianโs New Jersey farmhouse. Springsteen, who is joined by his wife Patti Scialfa and a 30-piece orchestra, enchants the crowd with new songs and intimate anecdotes.
