Southampton Artists Association (SAA) is holding their annual Spring Show featuring East End artists at the Levitas Center for the Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center. The exhibit debuts on Wednesday, April 1st, and is on view through Sunday, April 12th.
“Our exhibitions display a range of art works including painting, sculpture and photography,” noted Dom Lamontanaro, PhD, President of SAA. “The works presented are of excellent quality and works can be purchased at a reasonable cost.”

The Spring Show is one of four annual SAA exhibitions. They also hold a Memorial Day Show, Labor Day Show and a Thanksgiving Show. SAA also presents Art in the Park, a two day outdoor show at Agawam Park during mid-July.
“Our organization is a not-for-profit and has been functioning in the local Southampton art scene for the last 28 years,” explained Lamontanaro. “Our founders sought to create an artist association which would allow artists of our area (professionals and non-professionals) an opportunity to show their works at a small cost.” The Levitas Center for the Arts is a venue which is near and dear to SAA, as the gallery was financed by a donation from Mr. Levitas, who was one of their founders.
