“Art Groove combines the interaction of musical, performance and visual art creating a fun, unique, modern social experience,” explained Geralyne Lewandowski, Art Groove Curator.
On Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th, the Fifth Annual Art Groove: A Presentation of 13 Contemporary Artists with a Live Musical Performance by Out East is coming to Ashawagh Hall.
The exhibit features works by Beth Barry, Laura Benjamin, Barbara Bilotta, Nadine Daskaloff, Anahi DeCanio, Pearl Golden, Eileen Hickey-Hulme, John Jinks, Geralyne Lewandowski, Michael McDowell, Joyce Raimondo, Charles Waller, and Mark Zimmerman.
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, April 11th from 6 to 11 p.m. The event will kickoff with a special musical performance by East End fusion rock band, Out East featuring John Jinks, Brian Le Clerck and Gerry Giliberti. A dance party featuring DJ G-Funk’s hot mix will follow.

On Sunday, April 12th at 3 p.m., enjoy a screening of “Hans Van de Bovenkamp – In His Own Words,” a documentary by John Jinks.
Art Groove is on view on Saturday, April 11th from 12 to 11 p.m. and Sunday, April 12th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
