“Art In The Park” Returning To Southampton

Over 50 talented Long Island artists are set to exhibit their paintings, sculptures, photography and mixed media works at Southampton Artists Association’s annual Art in the Park art show on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16. Art in the Park will be held at Agawam Park in Southampton from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“As one of the Hamptons most prestigious exhibitions, the public can enjoy the fine arts expo free of charge,” Dom Lamontanaro, SAA President, explained. “Come and browse this annual open-air art show, meet the artists and add a piece of local art to your collection.”

Paintings will include work done with oil, acrylic, water color and pastel, while photography will include metal, canvas and framed photos. The Southampton Artists Association will also have their own tent set up where they will be selling members’ framed and bin item artwork.

For the first time ever, there will also be a caricaturist available to draw for the public and a bake sale hosted by the Southampton Cub Scouts! All proceeds from the bake sale will support the troop.

Admission to the event is free and all are encouraged to browse and meet the artists!
