The Montauk Music Festival (MMF), a volunteer-run, musical celebration featuring up-and-coming artists is back for four days of live music throughout “The End.”
Kicking off with several concerts and an opening party at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa on Thursday, May 14th, the 6th Annual Festival will run through Sunday, May 17th. MMF was founded by Ken Giustino, a member of the Montauk community for over 15 years, as a way to celebrate, support, and promote the booming Montauk music scene, as well as showcase the talented artistic community.
Several Montauk spots are hosting concerts, including Atlantic Terrace, Bliss, Cross Eyed Clam, East By Northeast, Fish BAR, Gosman’s, Gringos, Gurney’s, Lynn’s Hula Hut, Harvest, The Hideaway, Inlet Seafood, Johns Pancake, Last Hope Lagoon, Liar’s Saloon, Light House Grill, Manucci’s, Memory Motel, Montauk Bake Shop, The Montauk Beach House, Montauk Manor, Montauket, Navy Beach, O’Murphy’s Pub, Sammy’s, Sail Inn, Shagwong Restaurant & Bar, 668 Gig Shack, Sloppy Tuna, Sole East, The Surf Lodge, Swallow East, The Coast, The Lake Club, The Point Bar & Grill, Trails End, and Zum Schneider.

The weekend will feature performances from over 100 bands, both local and nationwide, who specialize in a wide variety of musical styles, such as alternative, rock, folk, pop, Americana, reggae, blues, jazz, bluegrass, to flamenco, rap, hip-hop, country, metal, and more.
Admission to the concerts is free.
