One Night Only In The Hamptons: Laura Benanti To Take Center Stage At Bay Street

Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti will be featured in a special holiday weekend performance at Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 10th at 8 p.m.

“We are so excited to have Laura Benanti headlining a special concert at Bay Street this Columbus Day weekend,” shared Bay Street Theater’s Artistic Director Scott Schwartz. “She is a dazzling Tony Award winning star whose work has shined not only on Broadway but also is known for her role on television’s Nashville and the upcoming Supergirl.”

Theater fans will most likely recognize the four-time Tony Award-nominated stage actress from one of the several notable productions she’s been featured in, such as Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Sarah Ruhl’s In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play, Gypsy opposite Patti LuPone, The Winter’s Tale and The Wedding Singer, Nine. Next year, she is teaming up with actor Josh Radnor for a revival of the musical She Loves Me.

The multi-talented actress currently stars in ABC’s Nashville as Sadie Stone, and can soon be seen in CBS’ new show, Supergirl. Benanti’s resume also includes reoccurring roles on CBS’ The Good Wife and HBO’s Nurse Jackie, NBC’s Law and Order: SVU, and USA’s Royal Pains.

For her show at Bay Street, the songstress along with musical director Georgia Stitt will treat audience members to an evening of classic music theater and contemporary pop mixed with a couple of not to be missed surprises.

“I am confident this concert is going to be a highlight of this fall on the East End,” shared Schwartz.

Tickets are $55 to $75.
