Bay Street Theater Bringing Legends Of Rock And Roll To The Big Screen

On Saturday, January 17th, Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is screening “Legends of Rock & Roll, Volume 6” featuring rare footage of rock & roll icons. Joe Lauro is hosting the evening, which begins at 8 p.m.

The brand new volume includes live vintage performances by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Cream, Johnny Winter, and other notable names. The Legends Series is curated from one of the world’s largest archives of music on film, the Historic Films Archive. The Archive, which contains 45,000 individual performances, is devoted to the re-discovery and preservation of all forms of American entertainment as it exists on film and videotape.
