Water Mill-Based Museum Searching For Historic Footage To Showcase During Special Screening

Will Pomerantz is Bay Street Theater’s Associate Artistic Director and the director of their next summer “Mainstage” production, Cagney The Musical. He shared his thoughts with Hamptons.com. This show will bring Hollywood legend James Cagney to Sag Harbor on the Bay Street Theater stage from June 30 through July 26. Cagney The Musical is produced in association with Riki Kane Larimer. This dynamic musical will be a wonderful complement to our country’s 250th birthday celebrations with its rhythm, song, and movements.

Something very exciting is coming to the Jewish Center of East Hampton on Sunday, June 28, at 4pm when Gideon Evans and Jill Abramovitz present their show, Borscht Belt Serenade. They describe it as part cabaret, and part Ted Talk, with a whisper of Bar Mitzvah. The show is written by Gideon Evans (who produced for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”) and Broadway’s Jill Abramovitz (Beetlejuice, Fiddler, and more), and performed by Abramovitz.
