The Westhampton Free Library (WFL) will host their 2nd annual Monday Night Movies on the Great Lawn beginning on Monday, June 27th at sunset (8:30 p.m.).
“Movies on the Great Lawn launched in 2015, a joint effort between the Village of Westhampton and the Westhampton Free Library, conceived as a way to bring together the community for a family night under the stars,” said Nola Thacker, WFL Program Coordinator. “The Great Lawn is a perfect location, since parking is readily available and everything from ice cream to a variety of restaurants is a short walk away.”
Monday nights will feature music, contests, prizes, popcorn, and of course, a movie. The Library has partnered with the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Westhampton Beach to make this fun summer tradition happen.
The movie line-up for the summer includes Star Wars: The Force Awakens (June 27th), Dirty Dancing (July 11th), Cinderella (July 18th), Jaws (July 25th), Back to the Future (August 1st), Rocky (August 8th), The Pink Panther (August 15th), Mamma Mia (August 22nd), and The Avengers (August 29th).

“The Library offers over a hundred programs for all ages in the summer, such as summer reading clubs (with fabulous prizes), writers’ groups, author readings, exercise, meditation, drumming and outdoor concerts,” encouraged Thacker.
Admission to the film series is free.
