This holiday season, Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS) will present their sixth annual production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker at Guild Hall’s John Drew Theater. Performances will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2 p.m.
The ballet, featuring Clara’s magic journey to the Land of Sweets, will be choreographed by HBTS Director Sara Jo Strickland, and will include costumes designed by Yuka Silvera and lighting designed by Sebastian Paczynski. The performances will showcase HBTS students as well as parents and local actors.
First time HBTS student Rose Kelly and special guest Nick Peregrino of Ballet Fleming will star as the the Sugar Plum and Cavalier Grand Pa De Deux.

During the HBTS performance, dancers will bring cheer to all audience members as they transport them to a dream-like scene full of angels, snowflakes, and flowers.
