Over 300 Local Children To Participate Along With Live Animals In Basilica Parish Of Sacred Hearts Of Jesus & Mary’s Family Christmas Pageant

This year, the Basilica Parish of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, under the direction of Pastor Father Mike Vetrano, will present an all new Christmas Pageant complete with live animals on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 7 p.m.

All of the children in the Parish, whether they attend Our Lady of the Hamptons or Religious Education, are welcome to participate in this lovely retelling of the birth of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Directed by Jennifer Ferrantino, Religious Education Director for the Parish, children in nursery school through Grade 3 are sought to plays Angels and Shepherds. Children in Grades 3 to 6 will portray the Three Kings and members of their Royal Court and Dancers. Grades 7 to 12 are encouraged to participate as musicians, singers, organizers and assistant directors.

The annual Christmas Pageant is always one of the most popular family events of the Advent Season and the production this year with the addition of live animals will be extra special.
