It’s going to be a busy holiday season at Guild Hall! The Hamptons-based venue is scheduled to show three separate plays as part of Our Fabulous Variety Show’s (OFVS) seasonal programming. This year, the event’s beneficiary will be HUGS. So, get ready for three fabulous and fun shows: The New Christmas Carol, How Scrooge Stole Christmas, and Holidays with Raffa.
“This year’s Christmas Carol follows Neeza, Scrooge’s daughter, on her journey at Dickens High as she navigates the issues young adults are often concerned with – such as reputation and making friends,” remarked Kasia Klimiuk, co-founder of OFVS. “We are partnering with HUGS, as our beneficiary of the show, who is a youth service organization on the East End that provides anti-bullying, suicide and drug prevention programs; a perfect collaboration for the themes within our story, The New Christmas Carol.”

The New Christmas Carol, an original and contemporary spin on the classic tale by Charles Dickens, will mark OFVS’ fifteenth production. The story is told through the twists and turns of Our Fabulous Variety Show. Instead of the story revolving around Scrooge, it follows his daughter as she deals with the obstacles young adults notoriously face every day. The show can be seen on Friday, December 2nd at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, December 3rd at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 4th at 2 p.m. This is the fourth original OFVS creation and will be directed by Co-Founders Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk.
How Scrooge Stole Christmas will be featured on Saturday, December 3rd at 2 p.m. and Sunday, December 4th at 6 p.m. This show was formed as a result of OFVS’ desire to continually expand its horizons, as well as to provide a hilarious and thrilling cabaret to audiences. It was inspired by Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Performers include King Grinch played by Eli Jones and the Grinchettes played by Sophia Sanchez Cleary, Lola Dangin, Macy Dellapolla, Chelsea Fromm, Sasha Dutrieux, Emma Hand, Peyton Hren, Madison Kelly, and Carlee Kenny; the Whos are played by Lilah Brown, Lexi Cantwell, Leah Fromm, Siena Link-Morse, Melina Sarlo, Caeleigh Schuster, Luma Teixeira, and Lyla Wilson; and the Scroogettes are played by Alexa Espana, Georgia Kenny, Kerri O’Donnell, Ryleigh O’Donnell, Dakota Quackenbush, Lila Ruddy, and Olivia Suter.
Holidays with Raffa will feature the sensational Danny Ximo of DEOX RAFFA, performing his energetic numbers impersonating Liza Minnelli, Tina Turner, Raffaella Carrera, and other well-known divas. The show will be a combination of Broadway show tunes, slam poetry, OFVS favorites, and several other local musicians, actors and dancers. They will be bringing it back to the old school days! Holidays with Raffa will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 9 p.m.

OFVS is a non-profit theatre troupe that strives to educate amateur and pre-professional performers by providing platforms for professional performers to entertain their local community. They show their support to the community by donating the proceeds of each production to a local non-profit organization as well as offering an annual performing arts scholarship. The eclectic theatre troupe was founded in the fall of 2010 by Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk.
