Garnet Hill in Bridgehampton is kicking off the summer with a book signing featuring author Kate Betts on Sunday, May 29th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Betts is considered to be one of the most respectable fashion experts, having worked as a senior editor at Vogue. Later on in her career, she joined Harper’s Bazaar, earning her the distinction of being one of the youngest editors of a fashion magazine. My Paris Dream: An Education in Style, Slang and Seduction in the Great City on the Seine, Betts’ new book, is a charming and insightful memoir about coming of age as a fashion journalist in 1980s Paris.
“I’ve been coming to the Hamptons since I was a kid and I have a house in Sag Harbor,” explained Betts. “I love the area and I discovered the Garnet Hill shop last summer at an event my friend, Kelli Delaney, hosted. We had a great time shopping and we decided it was the perfect place to launch the paperback edition of My Paris Dream–which is a great graduation gift for young people starting their careers.”
All are welcome at the in-store gathering at Garnet Hill to meet Betts and browse the beautiful summer collection. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Whispering Angel.
