Twelve years and still dancing! This weekend’s 12th Annual artGroove at Ashawagh Hall this Saturday and Sunday for a vibrant atmosphere in support of critical Hamptons charities. If you love dancing, supporting charities, or great Hamptons art—this is the weekend for you!
This premier event intermixes visual art, live music, and dance to deliver a captivating, modern social experience, drawing nearly 300 attendees annually, “where art meets soul in the heart of East Hampton.” ArtGroove is curated and produced by Geralyne Lewandowski. Don’t miss out on what promises to be the most vibrant and inspiring weekend of the season! Dress to impress, bring your dancing shoes, and prepare for a weekend filled with art and rhythm.
Free and open to the public, each artist has thoughtfully priced their artwork to make supporting these wonderful causes even more accessible. With prices ranging from $200 to $3,500, each piece is an ideal, one-of-a-kind gift for special occasions like weddings or birthdays. Plus, you’re welcome to make an offer. By participating in this Benefit Art Sale, you’re contributing to a win-win situation!
Known for its rich history as an art haven, Ashawagh Hall in Spring is so charming that you can feel the Bonnaker love all around. Inside, the gallery is the perfect blend of contemporary and classic—not to mention the art! The event has hosted many great artists in the past and welcomes thousands of attendees.
Contemporary Art Showcase & Musical Performances
Featuring a stellar lineup of 18 contemporary artists, including the globally celebrated sculptor Hans Van de Bovenkamp. Enjoy live performances by the rhythm and blues band The Kingbees, led by Grammy winner Frank Latorre. Then, enjoy Springs’ best DJ dance party with DJ G-Funk.
Honoring the late Great Artist Nadine Daskaloff
For years, Nadine Daskaloff was part of the ArtGroove Collective. She loved participating in the show. The entry vestibule was “Nadine’s Room.” Her family has graciously offered a special collection of her work to support these wonderful causes.
Please join us in celebrating her life with an Afternoon Tea Dance and exclusive Art Sale to benefit the Ellen Hermanson Breast Cancer Foundation, Maureen’s Haven, and AnnieAppleseed.
Complimented by the musical stylings of William Falkenburg.
Supporting Local Non-Profits
This year, artGroove supports significant local non-profits like The Ellen Hermanson Foundation, Maureen’s Haven, and the Annie Appleseed Project. All artwork will also be available online through April 30, 2024.
