Buckskill offers a wide array of family activities including: public ice skating and skate rentals; U.S.F.S.A. figure skating programmes; junior and adult ice hockey programs; private skating lessons and group skating lessons; birthday parties, private parties, teen nights and much more! Their ice rink is also available for private charter for hockey or parties!
They have a cozy club house with an open fire where you can warm up and watch the action on the ice with a cup of hot soup or European hot chocolate from our full service snack bar.

Southampton Ice Rink

Southampton Ice Rink, the only covered ice rink on the east end of Long Island, boasts a 120×50 rink with a commitment to maintaining high-quality ice. Operating from November 1st to April 1st, the rink offers public skating seven days a week, with extensive hours on weekends and holidays, allowing participants to bring their own skates or rent a pair. Skating lessons are available for both children and adults during public sessions, facilitated by experienced coaches.
The skating school, a season-long program, aims to transform children into skilled skaters, with a chance to showcase their skills in a winter festival. The rink also hosts an extensive youth hockey program, home to the Peconic Wildcats, and an exciting adult hockey league, the “Southampton Hockey League,” which includes a 3 V 3 format and runs from November to March.
Additionally, the facility offers skate sharpening, private ice rentals, igloo rentals, and ice skating birthday parties, complete with rental skates, food from the on-site restaurant Local Burger, and a private heated party room.
